The analog phase shifter continuously changes the phase of microwave signal in the working frequency band by varying a D.C. voltage applied on the varactor diode. Since the D.C. voltage applied to the diode is reverse bias, the current drain is very small and typically less than 10 uA. The typical control voltage is from 0 to +28 volts or 0 to -28 volts.

Note 1. Monotonicity guaranteed for all models.
2. Other phase shift value and control voltage range are available on request.
3. Other frequency bands are available.
4. Linearization is available on request, DC voltage of ±15V at ±30 mA are required.
5. Damage input power level is 1 W CW and 100 W peak.
6. Phase shift speed is 10 ns typically. With linearizer, it is 50 ns.
7. Miniaturization available on request.
The digital phase shifters in this catalog are all 360o phase shifters with standard 8 bits digitally controlled signal which is TTL compatible logic. Other phase shift value and up to 12-bit models are available per customer requirement.
Note 1. Monotonicity guaranteed for all models.
2. Other phase shift value and digital control bits (up to 12 bits) are available on request.
3. Other frequency bands are available.
4. DC voltage of ±15V at ±30 mA are required for octave and multi-octave band models and
±5V at ±70 mA per bit are required for specific application band models.
5. For octave and multi-octave band models, input operating power is 10 mW peak or CW and
damage power level is 1 W CW and 100 W peak. For specific application band models, input
operating power is 200 mW CW and 10 W peak, higher operating power level is available
on request.
6. Switching speed is 200 ns for octave and multi-octave band models, higher speeds
available on request. For specific application band models, the typical switching speed is
500 ns, however 15 ns can be achieved if required.
