RF Microtech's Products include microwave antennas and beamforming networks, microwave filters and multiplexers, microwave sensors, real-time localization systems, RF MEMS and tunable microwave circuits.
We provide custom design and manufacturing of several type of antennas: from conventional antennas (patches, dipoles, waveguide horns) and reflectors, to more advanced ones like electronic beam-scanning phased arrays or reflectarrays. All the elements of the antennas are internally designed: beam-forming networks (Blass and Butler Matrices, Rotman lenses), amplifiers (LNAs and PAs), couplers, phase-shifters.
RF Microtech provides both conventional and innovative designs of RF filters, diplexers, multiplexers and passive components in waveguide, coaxial and printed circuit technologies. Our products are also suited to small productions and for space or military qualifications. We are specialised in:
- miniaturized waveguide filters and diplexers with very selective pseudo-elliptic responses, possibly loaded with dielectrics for further volume savings and Q improvements
- tunable and switchable high-Q filters for response reconfigurability on waveguide and planar technologies
- micro-machined microwave filters for cost saving and high-yield production at high frequency bands
RF Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) are an attractive alternative to solid state technologies for the realization of RF switches and tunable components since it offers low power consumption, improved RF performance, high isolation and linearity, high miniaturization and reduced costs. RF MEMS technology finds attractive applications in space, security, safety and communication systems.
