The Night Vision market is particular as it is strongly dependant on system integration requirements. These requirements can range from specific mechanical and/or electrical interfaces, to choice of I² or UV intensifying tube and mounting opportunities, to dedicated sensor development. NIT offers a wide range of opportunities to customize our I² product line to best fit your needs.

NIT has developed two dedicated sensors for these applications. The NSC1104 dedicated to analog ouput low power consumption applications, and NSC1105 designed for higher-end digital solutions. NIT can also develop specific sensors that could best fit your requirements in terms of digital output, active area, resolution… with the same high dynamic range benefits as existing NIT CMOS sensors.

At a higher level of integration, NIT sensors are designed to fit straight Fiber Optic Plates (FOP) to optimize MTF of the final solution and CMOS NIT patented solution allows an optimal FOP to CMOS mechanical junction both in terms of MTF and in terms of ruggedness of the solution. The FOP or tapper would be designed and dedicated to the I² or UV tube chosen by the customer. This enables the user to integrate its own tube and/or electronics but requires some knowledge in tube integration on FOP. Electronic interfaces can be for instance analog, cameraLink, USB, or proprietary LVDS…
