Os Series

Os Series is the product of IDT’s groundbreaking engineering efforts of developing the first high-speed camera in space, specifically tailored for the Orion spacecraft missions.

The Os Series provides the most flexibility in high-speed imaging products on the market. Its compact size measures 74.93x86.87x95.19 mm or 2.95x3.42x3.748 in and weighs in at a mere 0.59 kg or 1.3 lbs. The rugged packaging provides immunity to hi-G shock and vibration. IP68-sealing and a sealed lens tube allows for operation underwater and in extreme temperature variations. The Os is airborne, underwater and UAV ready out of the box.

The Os platform brings higher data capacity and integrity than previous IDT camera generations. Os cameras are capable of achieving very high frame rates and transfer speeds to onboard high-capacity (256/512 GB) solid-state (non-volatile) memory.

IDT’s image quality continues to improve with the Os Series. With image sizes up to 4K (3840 x 2400) in resolution acquired at 1,000 fps, the Os captures sharp images with the highest dynamic range and fewest image artifacts.
